Instead of buying your teenager a used first car,
how about a less expensive economical new first Scooter for getting around a small town
Motor Scooters feel very safe and protective and are relatively quiet to ride. Motorcycles are great, but their engines and aerodynamics are are built for speed and agility in racing, so there is a tendency to go to faster on them, making them more dangerous. Motor Scooters are built for fun and basic transportation and are not really about speed. A scooter are much easier to ride than a motorcycle, because it is much lighter weight, so it is easier to hold up and control, also you easily step on it and you just sit upright, like you are sitting a chair, and set your feet the comfortable floorboard, there are no foot pegs and no foot gears.And the protective front fender makes you feel less vulnerable than on a motorcycle, as you are also more protected from the wind and the weather and the road. You turn on your scooter with the push of a button, then twist the handle with your right hand, which excelerates or decelerates, steer and go! Twist and Go! There is no clutch or gears to maneuver. The All Electric Zapino is considered a Moped and all you need is to fill out a simple DMV Form
and mail it into the DMV with a one time fee of $18.
You will receive moped license plate and identification card (ID); a title is not issued.
