Basic Automatic Electric Nutcracker
We have sold our Basic Automatic Nutcracker for years it is a very good unit
and works similar to our new and improved beefed up Premium Nutcracker.
The major differences between the improvements of the Premiums and Super and the Basic are:
The Basic is smaller & lighter weight metal (8lbs) and not as heavy duty as the Super (12lbs), Premium (12lbs), Premium XL (18)
and works more slowly than our Premium and Super Nutcrackers.
For the Basic, you have to attach a base board that comes with it and you have to screw it down to a table or block of wood
or use a C-Clamp or other type of clamp to clamp it down to a table in order to make it stable.
The Premium and Super are heavy enough and stable enough to stand on their own.
You have to plug in an included DC transformer and USA plug adapter to the Basic, so you can plug it into 110 volt outlet.
The Premiums and Super has a heavy duty cord and a grounded plug.
The Premium and Super come a stronger Adjustment Knob.
The Basic will crack about 20-25 lbs of nuts in a hour - as opposed to 30-50 lbs an hour in the Premiums and Super.
The Basic ships directly from Europe and takes about 4-5 weeks or more for delivery
The Premiums ships directly from Europe and take about 2-3 weeks (Expedited delivery is possible - Call Us)
The Basic works well with most nuts, but it works only fair with Small English Walnuts, does not work with Large English Walnuts.
