More Nut Cracker Details for our Elegant Nutcracker
Our Elegant "Hard Nuts to Crack" Nutcracker is built to last!
The jaws are made of hardened steel and rotate on ball bearings to assure
years of smooth operation. The solid machined gripper teeth have grooves
in the jaws for superior nut gripping power. All steel parts are powder coated
and fused to the steel to prevent corrosion and add to the strength
of the nutcracker. And then it is all hand tightened with steel nuts, bolts,
washers and screws. The stainless steel handle with polished wooden knob
is ergonomically designed and built to withstand years of the
force needed to crack the hardest of nuts.

Very smooth operation and very easy to use on a tabletop,
no extra clamps are needed. It's brilliant ergonomic design lets the machine
use gravity and leverage to do most of the work, as you easily pull down on the
lever to crack the nuts effortlessly and quickly as the video demonstrates.
Even a child can use this wonderful nutcracker. Other cheaper designs require
much more strength and are much more difficult and strenuous to use.
The Wooden Tray
The wooden tray to collect the cracked nuts is supported with four rubber
neoprene bumpers or feet, to give you a bit of a cushion when cracking nut
and they also serve to protect your table's surface from damage or marks.
The wooden mitered corners and the sides of the tray are sanded smooth and softly
rounded for an artistic detail and feel. No nails are used in the construction of the
nutcrackers. A rubber stopper is also placed below the handle to protect
wooden surface and a resting place for the handle when not in use. The wooden is
finished with a several protective coats of a clear food grade natural shellac (not lacquer).
Shellac is a natural substance made from the resin secreted from the Lac Beetle.

Economy Made in China Hard Nuts to Crack Cracker

It is less than half the price of our Made in the Australia model, because it is less than half the quality
This Economy model is made in China with a very thin lightweight raw unfinished pine box.
The jaws are aluminum, not steel, and will eventually break or wear out
The materials are all more inferior and flimsy, and no ball bearings for the cracking mechanism,
the red ball handle is plastic, not wood.
The box is smaller and has no rubber feet on the bottom.
It is not great quality, but it is functional it will crack mac nuts
We thought we would offer it, for those of you who want an economy cracker in this style,
